What You Need
An internet connection and access to a bit of space.
If you don't have a yoga mat or anything don't worry, but if you do then great! Sometimes we'll use a prop or two, but for a block you can substitute a hardcover book, or instead of a yoga bolster you can roll up some blankets or use a couple of pillows. We'll discuss prop needs before the class starts.
Just wear something comfy (PJs welcome!) and come as you are.

About Suzy
Suzy (she/her) is a tea drinking, procrasti-baking yogi and scientist. She is a qualified yoga therapist, having completed her Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy in 2014 with the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy. Her initial Yoga Teacher training was through the Australian Yoga Academy, back in 2007. She is also a tertiary lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology and loves to talk about how we benefit from yoga practice. Her classes are lighthearted, body inclusive, and suitable for all levels, often including anatomy insights to explain why she takes a particular approach. Suzy wants to empower her students, sharing skills they can take off the mat and into their every day. |
About Hannah
Hannah (she/her) was lucky enough to discover yoga over twenty years ago and has been teaching since 2013. She is a Hatha and Vinyasa teacher with a background in dance and a love of Hanna Somatics. She combines different styles of movement in an engaging and joyful way while encouraging mindfulness and injury-prevention. Hannah firmly believes that yoga should be accessible and fun for all people and she encourages students to develop a yoga practice that suits their unique needs. |

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are based in Narrm (Melbourne) – the Wurundjeri and neighbouring Boonwurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation – and we pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
